Protecting the Cloud Forest

In the heart of the Mashpi cloud forest, the Yumbo Mashpi Foundation works to conserve biodiversity and strengthen the connection between people and nature. Our work is based on three pillars: conservation, education, and reforestation.

Conservation

We protect 29 hectares of primary forest and continue to raise funds to expand the reserve and protect more flora and fauna of the Upper Mashpi Cloud Forest.
